As Chief Actuary of Talcott Resolution, John Brady is responsible for asset adequacy testing, experience studies, in-force product management, reinsurance administration, reserve and capital projections, and valuation. John also works closely with the investment and risk areas on strategic initiatives including asset liability management and hedging. He is leading the organization to the cutting edge of actuarial analysis by continually improving Talcott’s modeling capabilities, enabling early adoption of the new variable annuity reserve & capital requirements, and strengthening the company’s positioning for growth opportunities. John has over 25 years of actuarial experience and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, Member of the American Academy of Actuaries, and a member of the ACLI actuarial committee.

Guillaume Briere-Giroux is a Partner and leads the Hartford office of Oliver Wyman. He has worked with most top annuity writers on issues related to product development, financial reporting, asset liability management, financial modeling, and risk management. His areas of practice also include mergers and acquisitions, model validation, experience studies, and stable value products. Guillaume is a frequent speaker at SOA meetings and his work and research have been featured in the press and many actuarial publications. He helped pioneer the use of predictive modeling for experience studies in the annuity space and co-authored the award-winning paper Application of Predictive Modeling Techniques in Measuring Policyholder Behavior in Variable Annuity Contracts. Guillaume is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a CFA Charterholder.
