Maria is a Senior Manager in Deloitte Consulting LLP's Actuarial & Insurance Solutions practice. She has a broad range of actuarial experience from working at an insurance company and as a consultant with a focus on the life insurance and annuity industry. Her experiences have focused on actuarial modeling, actuarial modernization, Sarbanes-Oxley design and evaluation of controls, and Statutory, USGAAP, and IFRS financial reporting.

Michael has seventeen years of experience in life insurance, risk management and consulting. He has broad experience in ALM and modeling of life insurance and annuity products. Michael has expertise with Economic Capital, Earnings at Risk, Capital at Risk and stress-testing methodologies, and in-depth knowledge of financial economics, economic scenario generation, and stochastic modeling techniques. Michael holds a Ph.D in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University.
