William Bade, FSA, MAAA
William S. Bade, FSA, MAAA, is a consulting actuary with the Tampa office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 2015 after spending 10 years in the worksite benefits industry corporate setting. Prior to joining Milliman, Bade served as vice president of national account management at Allstate Benefits, a subsidiary of The Allstate Corporation. In that role, he was responsible for the management of national account premium administration, proposals, contracts and new client implementation. Through Bade's exposure to distribution and marketing, he developed a passion for anticipating market trends, distribution opportunities, and the interaction between market trends and product pricing. Bade also served as a health valuation actuary at Allstate Benefits for over five years. While there, he was responsible for worksite valuation, annual reporting, budgeting, cash flow testing, experience studies and profit improvement initiatives. His product development, marketing and valuation experience at Allstate Benefits included a broad range of individual and group voluntary products. Bade provides a unique blend of project management, creative problem solving, and excellence in core pricing and valuation throughout the customer life cycle.
