Garrett Viggers

Garrett Viggers is a renaissance insurtech entrepreneur, Co-Founder, original Chief Product Officer, and now Senior Enterprise Sales and Strategy Executive at Limelight Health. He began in the employee benefits industry in 2002 when Consumer-Driven Health (CDH) plans began a new era of decision support vs. traditional options. Garrett started two previous CDH companies, Veritas Health Systems and Inovius, where he oversaw product design for interactive proposal systems to easily compare traditional benefits with HRA and HSA options. Garrett is an innovator in quoting, renewals, underwriting and decision support tools and continues to push the bounds of what is possible in a post-ACA world. His role at Limelight Health enables him to direct his passion toward delivering the most efficient and compelling quoting & underwriting platform in the employee benefits industry.

Jennifer Howard, FSA,MAAA

Jennifer is a consulting Actuary with the Tampa office of Milliman. She joined the firm in 2005. Her primary area of concentration is in the supplemental health insurance market, specifically with critical illness products. She has extensive experience with this product line, having consulted with some of the largest carriers that offer various forms of a critical illness product. She has assisted clients with product development, contract and application development, underwriting design, competitive analysis, market review, rate filings, and in-force maintenance. She has presented at industry meetings and continues to perform research in this evolving industry. In addition to her critical illness experience, Jennifer also has experience with other products in the supplemental health insurance market, specifically with products commonly offered through the workplace. She has actively supported clients on an assortment of supplemental health products, including cancer, hospital indemnity, accident, limited benefit medical, and short-term medical. In addition, with the growth of the popularity of various life riders sold in conjunction with worksite life products, she has been on the leading edge of product design and support in this area. This includes lump-sum and accelerated death benefit riders, such as terminal illness, chronic illness, and critical illness.

Dan Watt, Vice President, Product Management, FINEOS

Dan brings with him a wealth of Business and IT experience. At Fineos, Dan leads Product Marketing and Strategy for the North American Market. He is responsible for Marketing, Business Development and Product Strategy across the Group and Individual benefits market. Prior to FINEOS Dan held a variety of leadership positions in the insurance, software, and financial services industry in both technology and business capacities. As Director of Voluntary Solutions at The Hartford he was responsible for the Group Voluntary Enrollment Strategy and Roadmap as well as the client implementation team. Prior to The Hartford, Dan worked at Cigna as Director of Underwriting Voluntary Operations, where he served in a variety of leadership roles across Group Insurance spanning: Voluntary Enrollment Operations, Individual Medical Underwriting, Underwriting (Group and Medical) Strategic Initiatives, and Group Voluntary Underwriting. Dan has led multiple functions across Operations, Technology, Program Management, and Underwriting and brings a broad level of industry experience and expertise.

Dan holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA as well as a Bachelors Degree in Management Science and Information Systems from The Pennsylvania State University, University Park PA.
